ST. PATTY'S DAY FUN STUFF!

Are you getting ready for a wee one to visit your classroom?  Here are a few activities to keep the students engaged and learning while having some fun, too.

Let's start with a few crafts

for great class decor

A ST. PATTY'S DAY MOBILE!
The rainbow, pot, and leprechaun can be made independently of each other, but I like to connect them together with a paper clip. It looks so cute hanging from the ceiling of the classroom. Each piece has an optional writing component, too. The leprechaun's beard is made from a strip of orange crepe paper streamer - just scrunch and glue.

Another fun project...
 LEPRECHAUN LADDERS!

The children cut shamrocks then string them alternating with pieces of a plastic drinking straw on a green pipe cleaner to create a ladder. Hook all the student's ladders together making a long ladder that reaches from ceiling to floor...an IMPRESSIVE sight!
